USED BOOKS

At The Curious Quill Book Shoppe, we have a deep respect for books, for writing, and for the creative process behind storytelling.  We recognize the value of books and respect the effort on the part of the authors who pour their lives into their writing.  New books will always be our priority as the sale of new books is the best way to reward good writers for their efforts.

We also recognize, however, that even after a book has been read, it still has value, and because we want to give people an outlet through which they can pass their books on to others, we have adopted a used book acceptance policy.

We will accept good, quality books in solid condition in exchange for a 25% off discount coupon that can be used toward any purchase in our store.  Due to limited space, not all donated books may be set out for sale at any given point in time.  We will likely have to rotate books in and out of stock.  Used books that we cannot or choose not to sell will be donated to local thrift stores or charities.

Used books will be sold using the following pricing schedule:

Hardcovers | $7.00

Paperbacks | $5.00

Used Curriculum and Educational Materials will be individually priced and accepted on a consignment basis.
